WB Montreal’s Gotham Knights released a lot of controversies. Despite this, one thing is clear: the game gives fans looking to prowl the streets of Gotham as Bat Family’s greatest what they are looking for: snappy combat, a dark open world, and tons of criminal investigations. A big part of the Gotham Knights is its co-op, which allows fans to explore Gotham city with friends. Every player can explore the city fully while exploring the city with a friend. Co-op is also a great way to enjoy the game a lot more, given its single-player can be slightly monotonous. For those unaware of how to invite your friends to Gotham Knights, we got you covered! In this guide, we will cover all there is to know about the game’s co-op.

How To Invite Your Friends To Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights co op

In order to be playing as Red Hood while your friend joins the team as Nightwing or Batgirl, you will need to know how to invite your friends to a Gotham Knights game. Unlike most co-op games, this feature is not available from the get-go. Rather, this is a feature fans will have to unlock in the game.

In order to unlock co-op in Gotham Knights, you will have to complete the first tutorial mission in the game. Once you do that, complete the following mission called ‘Case-02’. Completing these will make the option to invite your friends to Gotham Knights available.

Once you have co-op unlocked in Gotham Knights, do the following to invite your friends over to a game:

  • Head to the pause menu and go to socials
  • From there, head to friends gamercard and go to the friend you want to invite to your game
  • Once there, go to the invite section and hold X/Square on consoles or V on PC to invite that player to your game.
  • If you want to join a friend’s game, head to that friend’s gamercard and again hold X/Square or V.
  • In order to play with a stranger, head to the main menu of the game and select the quick match option.

Playing co-op has its restrictions, enemies have larger health pools, and players have their total health reduced. This is to ensure that the game remains balanced. Only two players can play Gotham Knights co-op at one time. The heroic assault mode, releasing in November, will allow for four-player parties. Any progress made in another player’s world will carry over to your own progress.

This concludes how to invite your friends to your game in Gotham Knights. For more guides, info, and news on the game, keep visiting The Nerd Stash!
