Let’s face it, your clothes are one of the most important parts of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You can change into different outfits that represent who you really are as a trainer. In some cases, you can even match with the Pokemon in your party. Like most protagonists within the series, you start out wearing a hat. However, how can you take in the beauty of the character that you just spent hours creating if you can’t take your hat off?

To take off your hat in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:

  1. While in-game, press left on the d-pad to open the Outfit Menu.
  2. Press left or right on the d-pad to get to the Headwear.
  3. Press the X button to remove your headwear.

While looking over your outfit and perfecting exactly how you want to look, make sure you toggle your hat on or off. In some cases, it can make or break your outfit. You did spend a ton of time choosing what haircut and hair color you wanted, so it makes sense to want to be able to see it.

Where To Get More Hats
