Tauros is one of the most special Pokémon from the game’s Pokedex. Not only because it is an icon of the Iberian peninsula but also because this first generation Pokémon now has a regional form. These new releases also have two unique variants exclusive to one edition and another.

  • The exclusive version in Pokémon Scarlet is Fighting-type and Fire-type
  • The exclusive version in Pokémon Violet is Fighting-type and Water-type.

You’ll find fire and water Tauros in the following areas:

  • They appear in Area 2 (East) grasslands and Area 2 (West).
  • They also appear randomly in 5 and 6-star Battle Raids.

To significantly increase the probability of the appearance of the Paldea Tauros exclusive to your edition, you must eat a certain type of snack. The snacks in this game give you different temporary benefits. Some of these powers involve increasing the appearance rate of Pokémon of a particular type.

You need to eat a Snack that gives you the Encounter Sparkling Power.
