Yes, shiny pokémon can spawn on raids, too. We’ll tell you how to find shiny raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in this guide. The Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet endgame boils down to two things: competitive and shiny hunting. If you’re among the fans of the latter, you’ll be happy to know that the ninth generation makes it even easier than usual.

How to complete 5 or 6-star Raids

You may have noticed that the Teraincursions increase in difficulty depending on the number of stars. The most challenging ones are those with 5 and 6 stars and the most difficult to find. The Pokémon you will face will be level 75 and 90, respectively. However, you will only be able to capture them at level 75.

The good news is that the effort is worth it since you’ll find shiny raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, where you’ll encounter rare, shiny pokémon.

Undoubtedly, your best option will be to fight alongside other online trainers, but that is only sometimes possible. You may not have an Internet connection, or you may not be subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online. Every trainer should be prepared to keep getting resources and leveling up in those cases.

Your chances of running into a shiny raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is 1:4103. But you’ll likely run into shiny pokémon while in Tera Raid Battles.

Follow these steps to find Shiny Raids in no time:

  • Step 1: Challenge alone and enter the Den
  • Step 2: See if there is a shiny creature around
  • Step 3: If there is, stay. If there isn’t, leave and look for another raid.

This is easier said than done. The game locks your ability to re-enter a Tera Raid Den after you decide to run from it.

However, tinkering with your game’s time -moving it forward or back- may do the trick.

Disclaimer:

Make sure autosaves are off and put down a hard save in front of that crystal because this is your one shot.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
