Filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro and video game developer Hideo Kojima will address the crowd for the keynote speech at the DICE gaming summit in Las Vegas.
DICE is the premier gaming summit for developers and those interested in the industry. From February 16 to 18, dozens of addresses regarding the gaming landscape, what is means to create and develop and ideas of storytelling will be had from the most respected heads of the industry, including plenty of guest speakers.
Del Toro and Kojima have been trying to find a project they can collaborate on for awhile, coming close with Silent Hills, a title that was unfortunately canceled.
The pair will speak about their creative process and what drives them as artists, the keynote will “offer insight into their creative vision and the driving forces behind their artistic pursuits.” explains a DICE press release. “This conversation will revisit some of their fondest memories from their own individual careers as well as some of the pivotal moments from each other’s work that remain a constant source of inspiration.”
Other notable speakers include Bethesda lead designer Todd Howard, GameSlice president Geoff Keighley, Actor and writer Pete Holmes and Gearbox Co-Found and President Randy Pitchford to name a few. The summit will be streamed live.
