EA has delivered on a promise that we would be seeing more of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst this week. A new trailer has been unveiled along with some more interesting news about the game.

EA announced today that a closed beta for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be happening. Those who are interested can go to the sign-up page and log in with their EA/Origin account for a chance to enter into the beta. The interesting part surrounding the beta is that the game won’t be featuring a normal multiplayer. Whereas most multiplayer games released by the company are live, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will feature an asynchronous world. This means that players won’t be inhabiting the same world, but the actions taken by players will have an effect on the overall world. As of now, that’s all the information that has been released regarding the game’s multiplayer.

Faith is in for a rough time if the trailer is any indication.

As mentioned above, a new trailer was also released. The trailer gives us more of an insight into the game’s story as well as what Faith will be facing within the game. EA is also promising that we will be seeing more of the game when in the coming months. The publisher will be showing more of Faith’s story, the world around her, and more of the story before the game releases.
