Golden Guns in Overwatch 2

You can only get golden guns in Overwatch 2 by purchasing them for Competitive Points. Once you have enough competitive points, you can get the golden Gun for your desired Hero. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Go to Heros Gallery and Select the Hero you want to purchase the Golden Gun.
  2. Select a weapon from the Hero’s Menu.
  3. Select the weapon you want to have, the Golden Version. You will see the Golden version can be purchased for 3000 Competitive Points.
  4. Select the option to purchase the Golden weapon version and complete the purchase. Once you have completed the purchase, your weapon will be changed to its golden version, and you can start showing off your skills with the Golden Weapon!

However, you can earn Competitive Points only by playing on the Competitive Playlist. Every time you win a game, you get 15 Competitive Points and extra Competitive Points at the end of the season according to how you ranked in the divisions. Also, you need to remember if you are new to the game, you have to win 50 Unranked Games to unlock the Competitive Mode.

Two types of modes in Competitive play are Role Que and Open Que. Most players prefer Open Que as they can get into the game within a shorter period than Roll Que.

So, if you want to get the golden guns in Overwatch 2, play on the Competitive Playlist and earn Competitive Points. Once you have enough points, you can purchase the golden gun for your desired Hero. Good luck!

Overwatch 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
