Crafting and using different materials is a key part of any survival game, including Stranded Deep. In this game, you are left alone on an island, and in order to survive, you have to make the best use of all the resources you have on the island. Plank Station is among the many tools you can create to make your survival easier. So here is how to make and use a plank station in Stranded Deep.

How to Make and Use Plank Station in Stranded Deep

Plank Station is among the many stations and tools you can make in Stranded Deep to progress through the game and make your survival easier. With the Plank Station, you can turn wood and logs into planks that can be used to make more equipment.

Like every other item and tool in the game, you can check the recipe for making a Plank Station in the game via the crafting menu. Basically, for making this station you need a refined axe, a crude hammer, four sticks, a log, and one lashing.

While you are gathering these items, make sure you don’t break down chopped wood into sticks when trying to get the log. Once you’ve gathered all the resources, you can make the Plank Station like everything else in the game.

Once you’ve created the station, then it is time to use it. The material you need to use at this station is tree logs. After bringing a log into the station, you can choose from the crafting menu to use the log to make a plank.

After you made some plank or plank scraps as it is called in the game, you can use it to make rafts, farming plots, or buildings. Now that you can make planks, you progress further with the game.

Using planks will help you with sustainable food, make rafts to travel, and also shelters to keep yourself warm and safe. In general, it is an essential station for your progress through the game.
