How to Get Pupa Hide in Grounded

Pupa Hide is one of the more important resources you will eventually come across, as it can be turned into Pupa Leather, a key ingredient in many Tier III items, like the hammer and other strong weapons and armor. If you want to survive the upper portion of the yard, you’ll need to grab some Pupa Hide as soon as possible.

In order to get Pupa Hide, you have to find Pupa, which are somewhat like Berries in the fact that you can find them hanging from different structures. In order to collect and harvest them, you’ll have to knock them down with different projectiles, including a bow. Once you’ve knocked them down, don’t worry, as Pupa are not aggressive bugs. However, if you want to harvest Pupa Hide, you will have to have access to the Tier III Termite Axe, the Scythe of Blossoms, or the Sour Battle-Axe.

The best places to find Pupa in order to harvest Pupa Hide are on cliff-like areas in the Upper Grasslands and underneath the Large Shed’s deck in the Northern portion of the yard. Though, do keep in mind that when you are trying to collect Pupa Hide for yourself, you should be careful, as Pupa are typically surrounded by aggressive and hostile bugs that will attack you on sight.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
