The Pipi Plant is a crafting component in Stranded Deep primarily used for making the Antidote, a medical item that cures poisoning from Snakes or Fish. The world of Stranded Deep is harsh and unforgiving, and lacking the medicine required to treat a poisoned wound can be fatal. Such a development would be devasting for those playing the game on its hardcore permadeath mode, which causes death to delete the save file if the player character dies. Therefore, knowing how to get the Pipi Plant to craft the Antidote is essential for survival, especially when encountering venomous creatures like Sea Snakes or Lionfish.

Finding a Pipi Plant In Stranded Deep

Pipi is not a rare plant resource in Stranded Deep; however, it can be exceptionally challenging to find, especially if the RNG of resource spawns is not in one’s favor. The Pipi Plant appears as a yellow-petaled bloom growing at the center of foliage clusters on the ground. Due to the flower’s small size, it can be hard to spot.

A solid strategy to search for the Pipi Plant in Stranded Deep would be to look for the resource after nightfall. Such an approach might sound counterproductive, but the slight yellow glow that the shoot of the plant emits is enough to help players better spot the plant in the dark. During the day, players’ eyes are bombarded with bright greenery across the islands of the world. Of course, other resources are fairly easy to spot under sunlight. However, Pipi blends well into its foliage nodes, making it almost impossible to see, even if players are right beside it.

Another indication players can use to quickly find Pipi in Stranded Deep is by moving their first-person camera’s reticule to the center of the viny clusters where Pipi can spawn. If a Pipi Plant is present, the object will highlight, enabling players to pick it up. If there is no white highlighted object in the grassy mesh, then the resource is absent from the node. Once players have found Pipi, they can plant it in a Farm Plot to grow the resource indefinitely. Keep in mind that harvested nodes found in the wild do not regrow, making this plant material quite scarce unless planted in a plot.
