The Division open beta has come and gone. Although the beta was available for a whole weekend it seems some gamers might still need a little something extra to hold them over until the release of the game. Fortunately, The Division has provided us with a trailer showing off the amazing world of The Division; that is if your computer can run it at 60 frames per second with everything else turned all the way up.

Some of the features are shown in the trailer weren’t in the game during the open beta which leaves some gamers to wonder if it’s another Watchdogs situation. It might be too long in video game time, but Watchdogs promised incredible visuals leading up to its release and failed to deliver by attempting (but failing) to subtly bring down the game’s visuals to make it an even experience across the whole board; I doubt we’ll have a similar issue with this. The game seems to look beautiful on the PC in comparison to the console versions, but the lack of added flair for the console versions in no way makes The Division a less enjoyable game.

Despite the clear superiority of the PC version of the game, in terms of aesthetic, I’m afraid I’ll be springing for the PS4 version simply because if I tried to run The Division with the settings are seen in the video my PC would explode.

What are your plans for The Division? Will you go out and buy the upgrades needed for your PC to run it to the max or will you take the easy route and buy it for your current gen console?

The Division is scheduled for a March 8, 2016 release (the wait’s almost over).

Luis is a generally great person to be around with unfortunately with his sense of humor you never know when he's being serious. He plays enough video games to consider himself more than a novice and possibly watches too much tv.
