Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are no longer together, a source confirmed. Angela and Michael’s marriage lasted three years, after which the couple ended their relationship for several reasons. However, Michael’s infidelity was the last straw to break the camel’s back. Get the details below.
Angela And Michael’s Marriage Is Over
90 Day Fiancé stars Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi split after three years of marriage, according to In Touch. A source told the outlet:
“Angela and Michael are not together.”
Angela and Michael’s marriage ended amidst his cheating scandal during season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Angela learned of her spouse’s infidelity after she returned from a trip she took to Nigeria to work on their long-distance relationship.
Upon her return, a friend sent her the text and voice notes Michael sent to another woman.
“I’m trying to call you now. You’re not picking up. I’ve been busy trying to sort things out. OK? Just trust me, please,” Michael told the other woman as Angela played the recording in a December 2022 episode.
“Also, I have some money coming to your side. I will let you know, OK? I will call you, please. I love you, and I miss you.” The voice recording ended with the TLC personality making kissing sounds.
The 57-year-old wept during a confessional, sad that he said that to another woman. Angela confessed that Michael broke her heart, especially since he always talked to her that way too.
Angela Deem Is Filing For Divorce
Angela revealed that Michael cheated without remorse. The Georgia native cried during the season 7 tell-all special about his indiscretions. She also disclosed that Michael told another woman that he loved her while in her bed.
“I found out that he was doing this the whole time that — when we made up. He knew what he was doing,” she claimed.
The mother of two also yelled at her lover when he said it was okay, accusing him of not loving her. Angela further revealed in part 4 of the tell-all that she would file for divorce. The TV personality also noted that she is “mentally exhausted” and “hurt” by all her husband’s lies.
“I don’t think he’s ever loved me,” Angela sadly concluded, adding that Michael may have only stayed with her for the benefits.
Angela and Michael’s marriage occurred in January 2020 after dating for almost two years. The duo met online in 2018 and tied the knot in Nigeria. The hospice care personnel returned to Georgia and filed for Michael’s visa in March, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Michael already started cheating on Angela before they said their vows. However, she forgave him, hoping they would work on their relationship.
It is not surprising that Angela and Michael’s marriage ended the way it did. Hopefully, the pair will find love with those they truly want.
