Burn TM 153 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Similar to Giga Impact, Blast Burn is a powerful Special Fire-type Move in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet that deals a massive amount of damage at the cost of preventing the caster from attacking during the following turn. Stat-wise, this Move deals 150 Power in damage with 90 Accuracy and a base cost of 5 PP. An ideal strategy with this Move would be to use it on Grass-, Ice-, Bug-, and Steel-type opponents whenever you know they will faint from the strike. Failure to defeat an enemy with Blast Burn leaves the caster vulnerable since their ability to attack will be restricted.

The procedure for obtaining the Blast Burn TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the same as TM 155: Frenzy Plant since both can be found at the same location. More specifically, you must travel to North Province (Area One) and search for a hidden cave in the northwestern corner of the region, bordering Glaseado Mountain.

Finding the Cave Entrance to the Location of the TM 155 Frenzy Plant Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Starting from the North Province (Area One) Pokemon, begin the trek to find the Blast Burn TM in Scarlet and Violet by following the trail northward. Eventually, the dirt road will end but continue north up the grassy slope until reaching a tree atop a ridge overlooking the North Paldean Sea. Turn left and carefully leap across the gap to the ledges on the opposing side. The ability to glide or scale walls with your Mount might be of help if you are struggling to have sound footing.

After you have made it across, follow the descending slope to the northwest. You will see a cave entrance up in the distance. Enter the cave to find three TMs, including Blast Burn in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Once you have acquired the TM, visit any TM Machine and use the following materials below to create a copy:
