Harrison Ford Doesn’t Care
Harrison Ford has revealed he doesn’t care about other people’s opinions about him while discussing his latest TV project, “Shrinking.”
This will be the first time Ford will be starring in a comedy series in his lengthy acting career. Ford portrays a rule-breaking therapist Dr. Phil Rhodes in the Apple TV series.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ford discussed his role in the series and claimed he is not a big fan of therapy because he knows who he is at this point in his life.
The actor quickly pointed out he was not anti-therapy but would never see a therapist himself. In his words:
“My opinion is not of the profession, it’s of the practitioner. There are all kinds of therapy. I’m sure many of them are useful to many people. I’m not anti-therapy for anybody – except for myself. I know who the [expletive] I am at this point.”
Although Harrison Ford’s therapist role will be the first time the actor will appear in a TV comedy, the actor was quick to point out he did not learn anything new from the role — reminding everyone just how far he has come in the industry.
The actor has certainly seen it all and has earned his place as a true legend of Hollywood. However, seeing what he brings to this new role would be interesting.
