It’s been a long time since Starfield was announced. We first saw it at E3 2018 event, and it’s crazy it’s been nearly 5 years since its announcement. Starfield isn’t the last of its kind; a few other games revealed on E3 2018, like Elder Scrolls VI, aren’t released yet. At least Xbox is decisive about releasing Starfield this year. We knew the game would be released in the first half of 2023, but we didn’t know the rest. Today, a new leak appeared, and it revealed new information about the Starfield game’s release date. If you were expecting the game’s release date to be announced, now you can shape your expectations following today’s leak.
Starfield Release Date Leak Points at June
The release date isn’t officially announced, but a trusted industry analyst says the game is expected in June. He references the latest information he got, but there’s still no exact release date. This might not even be decided in Xbox because they only wanted to announce that the game would arrive in the first half. June is the last month of the first half, so they might want to be sure about the release before announcing a day.
“The year is 2330. Humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people,” reads a blurb about the game. “From humble beginnings as a space miner, you will join Constellation – the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy – and navigate the vast expanse of the Settled Systems in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.”
Starfield will be released on Xbox Series and PC. It’s developed by Bethesda Game Studios; it’s pretty exciting to know that. Bethesda has done many successful titles in the past, and we keep the same expectations from their work under Xbox Game Studios.
