Fortnite is known for its high-profile crossover skins and cosmetics. While these skins can be quite expensive to purchase, there are some rare opportunities to get them for free. In this guide, we’ll provide an overview of the current and expired free skins in Fortnite as of February 2023, along with the steps required to unlock them.

How to Get Free Skins in Fortnite for February 2023

As of February 2023, there are three free skins available in Fortnite that players can claim. The Gold Blooded Ace skin can be unlocked by earning 48,000 Infamy Points during the Most Wanted event, which ends on February 28. PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim the Jun-Hwan skin through the exclusive Blue Phoenix Pack. Finally, the Xander skin can be obtained by signing up for the Refer A Friend scheme and completing all required tasks.

How to claim

Gold Blooded Ace skin Earn 48,000 Infamy Points during the Most Wanted event (ends February 28)
Jun-Hwan skin Claim the PlayStation Plus-exclusive Blue Phoenix Pack
Xander skin Sign up for the Refer A Friend scheme and complete all of the tasks

It’s important to note that free skins in Fortnite are very rare, so players should take advantage of these opportunities while they are available. Some other methods for obtaining free skins in Fortnite include opening presents during Winterfest or completing event challenges. However, most of the time, players will need to put in some effort to earn these free skins.

How to Get Fortnite Skins with Other Way?

While the most reliable way to obtain new skins in Fortnite is through subscribing to Fortnite Crew for $11.99 per month, other ways exist to acquire skins without spending any money.

Twitch Prime offers free skins to Amazon Prime members who link their Twitch account, while PlayStation Plus members can claim free skins through the PlayStation Store. However, these methods may offer fewer skins than the Fortnite Crew subscription, and some may require memberships or purchases.
