Dead Space Update 1.005 Patch Notes
- Steam Deck optimizations.
- The game will now recognise if the player collected the Crew Quarters keys before reaching Chapter 10 and achieving the goal Find the Crew Deck key. -> If you plan to bring a save to where you were in this state before this game doesn’t update, it will come back.
- The entrance to the security station will clear the door when Daniels calls back into his place. -> If at loading this door then the door will run through, the door will open.
- Once you load a game where you are already stuck, the game will update if the player destroyed a mine tethers. If you didn’t destroy the mining tethers, you should do this, so the game is running to normal.
- Dr. Kyne has not been fixed inside the Chief Stewards office. -> Will be fixed if the current objective is scrambled with unitologist symbols. Go back to the canton. Return to the Hunter, then back to the local city. This should trigger a proper quest flow. Follow the quest markers till you reach the Kynes sequence.
- We now let the previously acquired suit visuals be equipped -> Current or new acquired suit visuals are available in Storage and can be combined with the option to upgrade them. If you want to remove the cosmetic, pick the current made-up cosmetic suit from the storage, and select the unfit option. Changing your cosmetics don’t affect the upgrades you’ve acquired. Buy one of three cosmetics, get another as the other. If one takes five saves and buys five other kinds of cosmetics, a player gets one of his storage supplies immediately.
- Enabled HDR 10+.
- Some other fixes that may help overall, keep us up there once you have updated your game and spent some time with them.
