Sons of the Forest: How to Build a Defensive Wall
There are quite a few dangers in-game that you’ll have to make sure you can protect yourself against. Whether it’s a scout, a group of cannibals you attracted with a fire burning at night, or even a mutant monster, you will be in danger more than once in the game. In the beginning, an easy way to keep yourself a bit safer is to build a defensive wall around your base.
Building a defensive wall isn’t too difficult. But it does take a lot of resources and time. That being said, getting a pretty early start on it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
The first thing you will need to do to build a defensive wall around your base is to gather as many logs as possible. This will take a while, so it might be a good idea to task Kelvin to collect logs and bring them to you. This can speed up the process quite a bit.
Once you’ve collected a decent amount of logs, it’s time to start placing them. When you have one in your hands, scroll through the placement options until you see a circle on the ground, showing that you can place it straight up and down. Next, continue to place them in a row until you have your defensive wall placed.
Now, using your axe, show the top of them when the option to chop them into a spike appears, and you will have yourself a full defensive wall around your base.
