Destiny 2 Season 17: Season of the Haunted brought back several sunset Menagerie weapons like the popular Austringer Hand Cannon. Now, in Season 20: Season of Defiance, more Menagerie guns have been updated as well, including the Imperial Decree Kinetic Shotgun. While some Guardians aren’t sure it can beat the overtuned Matador 64 in most PvP scenarios, its return has been long awaited by players. Continue reading below to learn how you can get the Imperial Decree Shotgun in Destiny 2: Lightfall.
How to Get Imperial Decree in Destiny 2: Lightfall
The first thing to note is the Imperial Decree is only available for Premium Season Pass owners that can access the Season of Defiance. Guardians with Season Pass then can head over to the War Table in H.E.L.M. Open the Defiant Engram Decoding menu, then pick the Focused Decoding option. Costing two Seasonal Engrams, you can get the Imperial Decree Shotgun using both Defiant Engram and Recovered Leviathan Weapons.
However, you can increase the drop rate by upgrading the War Table. Open the Upgrades menu next to the Defiant Engram Decoding tab, then select the Defiant Vestments option. Purchasing the third and fourth upgrades, Defiant Weapon Focusing and Eyesight Decoding will increase the drop rate for the gun.

The current god rolls list for Imperial Decree is only for theory-crafting and will be updated once the Destiny 2 community has found a better roll combination for the weapon.
