Leave the Madness Serve You in Fractured Sanity
In Fractured Sanity, players mysteriously wake up in the Triton Institute. It’s a brooding asylum with a terrible reputation, known for horrendous experiments on humans. And who is in charge of this peculiar madness? Only the one Dr. Matthew Simmons can claim such a position, for we’ll have to navigate among the darkness.
Players can expect physics-based puzzles to play a role in the survival aspects of Fractured Sanity. With such an array of fears to face, patients of the Triton Institute will need to keep their eyes peeled. Shattered souls lurk within the hallways and shadows of the asylum, forcing you to fend for yourself as you make your way to freedom. The Fractured Sanity Official Trailer perfectly showcases just what to look forward to in terms of its interactive gameplay. We’ve attached the video above.
If you’re curious about how United Games is tackling the horror genre, Gabriel Marques commented on the nature of Fractured Sanity. “When we started this project, we knew it couldn’t be just another jumpscare-infested walking simulator – it had to have mechanics, immersion, and atmosphere. That’s how it was with classic horror games we grew up with, so why not bring that to VR?” The games that Marques is referring to are Silent Hill and Resident Evil. More can be read on the official Steam page for the game.
With all of this in mind, Fractured Sanity is set to release on March 28 for Steam and Oculus App Lab. Be sure to wishlist the new title for any upcoming developments and announcements.
