In the hack-and-slash MMORPG Warframe, Umbra Forma is one type of upgrade material for your Warframe or melee weapons. This special variant of the Forma material can be used to apply an Umbra Polarity, reducing the drain of an equipped Umbra Mod. Doing this allows the equipment to gain more combinations of Mods. Obviously, you will need to get a lot of this material to make the best builds in the game, so this Warframe guide will tell you how you can get Umbra Forma in the latest 2023 update.
Warframe (2023) – How to Get Umbra Forma
There are three ways you can get Umbra Forma in Warframe:
- First, it is a reward for reaching certain Ranks in the Nightwave events by completing Daily and Weekly Missions.
- When you passed the Mastery Rank 30 test, you are also rewarded with 3 Umbra Formas.
- Lastly, the best method to collect this upgrade material is by purchasing the Blueprint and crafting them.
The Blueprint for Umbra Forma can be bought from The Steel Path Honors Shop for 150 Steel Essence. Usually, it is available in the Shop rotation once every eight weeks, with that in mind, you will have to check the Shop often. Once purchased, you can craft Umbra Formas provided you have these materials:
- 35,000 Credits
- Forma x1
- Warframe Neurode x1
- Kuva x500
- Nano Spores x1,100
You need to reach 30 Affinity with the Warframe or weapon you want to be given the Umbra Forma first, and doing so will reset them back to 0 Affinity. The Umbra Mods themselves can be acquired once you have completed “The Sacrifice” questline. Stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for more guides about Warframe and your other favorite MMO games.
