With the arrival of Season 2, Diablo 4 drives fans into the arms of the Battle Pass. If you’ve used the pass before, this should all be quite familiar. We’ll discuss what you can expect from the Battle Pass, such as costs, how it works, and the rewards you can earn.
Diablo 4 Season 2 Battle Pass Start and End Dates
The release of the latest Battle Pass coincides with the release of Season 2, affectionately titled Season of Blood. It officially dropped on October 17, 2023. Note that you must create a new character alongside the season change.
There’s no official word from Blizzard concerning the end date. However, it’s known that the season will run for three months. It gives you a few months of breathing room to tackle the Battle Pass and earn those rewards in Diablo 4.
Battle Pass Prices
Let’s alleviate a concern some players may have: There is a free way to enjoy the Battle Pass. You may not gain everything, but you can certainly participate and still earn some cosmetic items and various rewards.

Accelerated Battle Pass Rewards
If you opt for the Accelerated Battle Pass in Diablo 4, you will gain everything from the free and Platinum passes. The main draw of this type is the skip function:
