Where to Find Trail Ruins in Minecraft

Minecraft has a vast open world. And by exploring it, you will be able to find different biomes with unique landscapes, mobs, and blocks. Moreover, Mojang Studios will actively work on filling the world. And in the upcoming Trails & Tales update, new structures will appear in the game called Trail Ruins.

Trail Ruins are buried structures of various sizes that are left over from a lost culture. And in them, you can become archaeologists, as Suspicious Gravel and Suspicious Sand are generated there. These new blocks can drop great rewards if you bring the Brush with you, of course. Moreover, Suspicious Gravel generated in Trail Ruins can contain four different Armor Trims:

  • Wayfinder Armor Trim
  • Raiser Armor Trim
  • Shaper Armor Trim
  • Host Armor Trim

So, you can find Trail Ruins in Minecraft near Ocean biomes and other bodies of water. Also, these structures often spawn in Jungle or Taiga biomes. And we recommend that you check out these biomes as well:

  • Snowy Taiga
  • Old Growth Birch Forest
  • Old Growth Pine Taiga
  • Old Growth Spruce Taiga

However, it is worth noting that the size of the Trail Ruins can vary. You will be able to find both huge ruined villages and single houses. Therefore, you will have to spend a lot of time getting a lot of items from these new structures. And luckily, Trail Ruins are generated from different colored blocks so you can spot them from afar.

That’s all you need to know about where to find Trail Ruins in Minecraft. These new structures will make world exploration a lot more interesting. Therefore, follow our advice to find them and get cool items. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to get and use Torchflowers in Minecraft.
