The post-bombing Appalachia has been overrun by numerous monsters, and players must eliminate them. Among them is the Spooky Scorched which is one of the most challenging. You will need to hunt down the Spooky Scorched, which can appear in various forms due to their origin as normal humans. To find them, you must be able to recognize their unique features.

Identifying Spooky Scorched in Fallout 76

Fallout 76 Spooky Scorched Locations

Occasionally, the Scorched will dress up in terrifying costumes, adding an extra element of challenge for players. However, players can obtain their Spooky Treat Bag and Mysterious Candy if defeated.

The Spooky Scorched in Fallout 76 have pale, ash-colored skin and fiery red-glowing eyes, distinguishing them from the regular monsters that players face in the game. They only appear during Halloween events, but when they do, they are fully dressed for the occasion in skeleton bodysuits and pumpkin headgear.

Spooky Scorched in Fallout 76 is commonly seen sporting one of the following costumes:

  • Captain Cosmos suit and helmet
  • Halloween costume skeleton
  • Halloween vampire costume
  • Jack gourdon outfit and helmet
  • Jack o’lantern pant suit
  • Mummy costume and mask

Moreover, they carry weapons such as Bone hammer, Chinese officer sword, Grognak’s axe, Machete, Multi-purpose axe, Shishkebab, or the Super sledge.

Once players successfully fight these monsters, they will be rewarded with legendary items.

Spooky Scorched locations in Fallout 76

In order to make the most of special events, players need to know where to find Spooky Scorched, as they only appear for a limited time. Spooky Scorched can show up randomly alongside other Scorched enemies, but certain locations on the map tend to have higher frequencies of these formidable foes. Notably, Helvetia, Wavy Willards, and Morgantown airport are hotspots for encountering Spooky Scorched. Furthermore, players have a good chance of running into them at Camden Park, a fairground area situated in the southwest corner of the map.
