Sunbracers is one of the most popular armor pieces for Solar Warlocks in Destiny 2. Although the Helium Spirals Perk is pretty useful to regenerate your Abilities much faster than usual, it’s not particularly recommended for tougher Raids that demand the whole Fireteam member to be able to dish out big enough damages. Destiny 2 – How to Get the Sunbracers

In the base game, you can acquire the Sunbraces by simply completing the sixth story mission, “Riptide.” Sloane will offer any Warlocks the Sunbracers Gauntlet as one of three Exotic rewards. But of course, later down the road, you will need to farm more of it for ones with better stats.
Just like most other Exotic equipment in Destiny 2 and its expansions, one of the ways you can obtain the Sunbracers is from a random drop from Exotic Engrams. That means you will want to farm various Nightfall Raids and Lost Sectors at Legendary and Master difficulties for a chance of acquiring Exotic Engrams.
Aside from random drops, occasionally, Xur will have the Sunbracers in stock priced at 23 Legendary Shards. With that in mind, you will want to keep an eye out for when the mysterious vendor brought along the Exotic Warlock Gauntlet and stockpile the Legendary Shards while waiting for the moment to come.

“You tell them that, they’ll probably put a bounty on you and try to sacrifice you to their forge. I’ll call them Sunbracers.”
“Call them what you want. To me they’ll always be Sunbreakers.”
