World of Warcraft Patch 10.1 Launches May 2
Patch 10.1 – Embers of Neltharion brings a new zone called Zaralek Caverns. This underground area is the home of the Niffen mole people tribe, who function as a new renown reputation to earn ranks and rewards. Zaralek Caverns is also where Netharion hid his past experiments, which is sure to bring a ton of Deathwing lore.
Patch 10.1 will also see the inclusion of Cross-faction Guilds. This quality-of-life change will allow more fans to play together and has been a popular request for years now. Blizzard hopes to keep building on cross-faction play into the future.
Fyrakk will begin to assault the Dragon Isles in Patch 10.1 – Embers of Neltharion. Players can work together to defeat his forces for rewards as well. Be sure to watch out for his deadly fire, however. He will often fly through the zone and destroy everything in his path on the way to the assault.
When Season Two of Dragonflight launches, players will also be able to tackle the Aberrus: The Shadowed Crucible raid. New Mythic Plus dungeons and a PvP season will round out this content drop. Blizzard has retired some troublesome Mythic Plus affixes while also adding in some new ones for this upcoming season.
There is a lot to look forward to in Patch 10.1 – Embers of Neltharion. Fans can dive back into WoW Patch 10.0.7 right now to catch up and earn rewards in anticipation for the next patch.
