There are a lot of reasons you might not like your Pokemon GO name anymore. Maybe you selected the first thing that came to mind without really thinking it through. Or maybe you do like it, but perhaps it’s misspelled. No matter your reasoning, you don’t have to live with your first choice. Though it used to be that the game only allowed one nickname change, that’s not the case anymore. You can’t keep changing names forever, though. Just follow the steps below to change your name in Pokemon GO:
- Launch the game and select the Poké Ball at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the “Settings” icon at the top-right corner.
- Select “Account”
- Tap on the pencil icon where you see your name at the top.
