This Bleach-themed Roblox game offers players different builds through its race system. Of course, choosing a race will affect your character’s abilities and gameplay. In the case of playing as a Hollow, you will be transformed into the evil spirit and have to progress through their ranks. As you can expect, leveling up as one will not be as straightforward as upgrading your skills as a Soul Reaper or Quincy. Project Mugetsu: How to Become a Hollow

If you really want to become a Hollow, then you must meet Aizen. Follow the skull with a red flame marker on the screen, and you will easily find him in Karakura Town. He will ask you to find and kill a Soul Reaper. While Aizen will tell you you must hunt down “player Soul Reaper,” defeating any applicable NPC works too.
Look around Karakura Town and see if your screen is highlighting fitting targets. Player Soul Reaper will be highlighted in blue, while NPC Rogue Shinigami will be in green. We recommend you block all enemy’s M1s by pressing F; after they stop, immediately do a counterattack! It is a good strategy for beginners that helps you easily defeat enemies. Then return to Aizen and he will turn you into a Hollow in Project Mugetsu.
However, keep in mind that transforming into Hollow is permanent! In case you feel like turning into a corrupted spirit is a bad choice, then you can either:
- Purchase Extra Slots Game Passes for 700 and 325 Robux to make new files.
- Buy the Reset Race Potion for 350 Robux.
Hollow Progression
When playing as a Hollow, you’ll have to progress through five stages of evolution:
- Hollow.
- Menos.
- Adjucha.
- Vasto Lorde.
- Vastocar.
Unlike other races as well, defeating enemies isn’t enough to gain XP; you must eat their body parts too. Advancing through the ranks takes more time compared to the other races, as you will have to grind a lot. Sure, you can buy the Race Progression Game Pass for 450 Robux but why make the process this tedious in the first place? Moreover, it’s very dangerous to evolve into stronger forms like Adjucha or Vastocar– if you fail, you will lose all the stage’s progress!
Still, the risk is worth it because by reaching Vastocar, you will become one of the strongest creatures on the server. Now let’s take a peek at how you can effectively do the Hollow progressions in Project Mugetsu.
Hollow to Menos Progression Guide in Project Mugetsu
You must reach Level 5 or above and get 625 XP from eating body parts to progress from base Hollow to Menos. Defeated enemies will drop four body parts and each enemy type will give you a different amount of XP. You can check your XP progress by opening the “Profile” menu and purchasing it for 4,500 Money.

In the early game defeating any base Hollow you find in Hueco Mundo is pretty much the only way to farm XP. Once you are strong enough or can exploit the attack animation delay properly, then you can start hunting Adjuchas. You should easily find some near the Notti NPC and crossing the ramp. You’ll need around 78 Adjuchas to get the amount of parts XP needed to progress.
If you do have an Arrancar friend though, you should ask them to teleport you back to Karakura Town. There are more enemy types in the area and they can help you with farming body parts.
Menos to Adjucha
Now, once you have completed the prerequisites, you need to grind until Level 25 or above. You will be instantly turned into a Menos and have to survive the hostile world for 45 minutes. Most Project Mugetsu players will just leave you be but sometimes, there can be bad actors who like to grieve other Hollows.
We recommend you get away from crowded areas or party up with friends for protection to complete this stage. After all, you are a big juicy target, and dying or disconnecting from the server will reset your Menos progress. Just be careful and you should complete this party without a hitch.
Adjucha to Vasto Lorde
Lumber around in peace and you’ll become an Adjucha. Time for another level and body parts XP grind. To reach the Vasto Lorde Hollow form in Project Mugetsu, you need at least Level 50 and 1,875 body parts XP.
At this point, farming any NPC you find should be as easy as eating weak Hollows. As a Vasto Lorde comes equipped with powerful Ceros and a strong M1 combo. You have two options to grind XP:
- In Hueco Mundo, you can farm as many Vasto Lordes as you can.
- In Karakura Town, farming Arrancars is your best bet. A big group of them can be easily found behind the Baloish quest NPC, behind the fences.
