Togekiss is such a fun character to use in Pokémon GO. They’re versatile enough to handle any battle situation, so it’s worthwhile to spend time trying to catch and evolve a Togepi and Togetic. Once you have Togekiss in Pokémon GO, you can build up the best moveset for use in Raids, gym battles, and PvP. We’ll guide you through their moves so you can discover which setup works best.

A Fairy/Flying-type Pokémon, Togekiss is a favored companion for many Trainers. They have incredible versatility, allowing you to bring them out in numerous battles. It is more than worth the effort to gather enough candies to finish the Togetic evolution. Hopefully, you gathered enough Candies during the previous Community Day that saw Togetic spawning in the wild more often.

Now let’s focus on getting the best Togekiss moveset in Pokémon GO so you can easily control PvP, raids, and more. Before we do, let’s check out every move Togekiss has so you know what you’re working with:

Quick Moves

  • Air Slash (Flying)
  • Hidden Power (Normal)
  • Charm (Fairy)

Charged Moves

  • Aerial Ace (Flying)
  • Ancient Power (Rock)
  • Aura Sphere (Ground)
  • Dazzling Gleam (Fairy)
  • Flamethrower (Fire)

Best PvP Moveset for Togekiss in Pokémon GO

No matter which level of Go League you fight at, Charm is your best go-to move for Togekiss. It has the highest damage output, so it’s a no-brainer that you want to pull that out during PvP matches. It will steadily down an opponent’s HP without using your charged attack.

For the charged moveset in Pokémon GO, you may want to stay away from the Fairy-type move Dazzling Gleam. It is because you’ll only double the same type of move, and it won’t do you any favors in the Battle League. Stick with the likes of Aerial Ace or Flamethrower. If you happened to participate in the April 2023 Community Day, then you also have the even more powerful move Aura Sphere which is perfect for PvP.

Best Raid and Gym Moveset for Togekiss

When battling in Pokémon GO Raids, you want to choose the Raid wisely with the best moveset for Togekiss. Stick with attacking the following types of Pokémon:

  • Grass
  • Bug
  • Dark
  • Dragon
  • Fighting

As Togekiss is a Fairy/Flying-type, they’ll handle themselves better against those listed above. Anything else like Rock-type can decimate Togekiss before you can ever build up a strong charged attack. Take care of this when going for other PvE battles like gyms or against Team Rocket.

For the best Togekiss moveset, you’ll want to stick to the same type for PvE in Pokémon GO. Aim for Charm and Dazzling Gleam, two Fairy-type moves. It is perfect against Pokémon that are weak against Fairy-type. Of course, you can always switch things up with Aerial Ace, Ancient Power, and Flamethrower. Charm remains the best fast move, however.

Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
