The upcoming movie based on the popular MMO World of Warcraft titles Warcraft is getting a prequel in the form of a graphic novel called Bonds of Brotherhood.
Published by Legendary, the studio distributing the film, Bonds of Brotherhood is a story by longtime Blizzard scriptwriter and novelist Christ Metzen, written by Paul Cornell and illustrated by Matt Broome, Michael O’Hare, Eddie Nunez, Roy Allen Martinez, Ale Garza and Mike Bowden, with the cover by artist Kevin Tong.
The 112-page issue will be available June 7, for $24.99 USD, Blizzard has also provided the full description of Bonds of Brotherhood:
“Discover how three of Azeroth’s greatest champions forged their first alliance, in the official graphic prequel to the Warcaft movie from Legendary, Universal Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment.

The Warcraft film releases June 10 and follows the story of one of the first encounters between the orcs and the humans, led by Durotan and Anduin Lothar respectively, as they struggle to keep their people from going to war with one another.
