However, on Thursday, the actor’s good friend Martin opened up about Jamie Foxx’s condition. During an interview with Extra at his Hollywood Walk of Fame, Martin told the outlet he heard his friend was doing better. The entertainment icon also said he sent out prayers to Jamie every night, wishing the best for him, as he was one of the best stars in Hollywood.
“Not only one of the best entertainers but a good person,” the Bad Boys for Life star concluded.

Fans found out about Jamie Foxx’s condition on April 12 via a statement from the actor’s daughter, Corrine. In the statement, the 29-year-old shared that her dad had sustained a medical complication. However, Corinne refrained from spilling details regarding the cause of Jamie Foxx’s condition and health emergency. Nevertheless, Corrine noted that due to “quick action” and great care, Jamie was already on his way to recovery. Next, she thanked the public for their prayers, after which she requested some privacy for the family.
