Fallen Order had some cool customization, but its sequel takes it up a few notches. One thing that you may wonder is if Star Wars Jedi Survivor lets you change Cal’s hairstyle. He already has nice hair, but what if you want to change the style or maybe play with possible facial hair? We will get into all of that so you know what you can or cannot change in the Jedi’s look.
Customization lets you personalize your experience, even if the character is already pre-made by the developers. Keep on to see what Respawn has done or not done when it comes to the hairstyle of Cal in Jedi Survivor.
Can You Change Hairstyles in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?
Respawn took in plenty of feedback from critics and fans about Fallen Order, including customization options. This has given us hairstyle options in Star Wars Jedi Survivor to give some new life to Cal. In my hands-on preview, I got to play a little bit with these options. These will not change his hair color, maintaining the redhead, but gives you plenty of ways to stylize him. Personally, I was underwhelmed, but I only got to scratch the surface of the hair in the upcoming swashbuckling adventure.
Access to the hairstyles in Star Wars Jedi Survivor is easy. While other cosmetics are unobtainable unless you are at specific locations or interact with objects in the world, you can change Cal’s clothing and hair at any time. All you have to do is pause and go into the menu to change his aesthetic.
Early on, you will not have much to change. Unlocking new hairstyles must be discovered as you explore the many planets you travel to on your next journey. You can have a stubble of facial hair to a lumberjack’s beard. Hair ranges from shaving his nice head of hair to playing with some questionable styles. Pre-ordering gets you all sorts of clothes and weapon skins, but no haircuts come from pre-ordering.
Hairstyles are among the many ways Respawn has upgraded Star Wars Jedi Survivor to be a worthy sequel to the megahit Fallen Order. You will be able to find out soon enough when the game releases on April 28 for a next-gen Star Wars experience. Hopefully, you will discover better styles than I did when I got to play three hours of the game early.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
