You’ll need to work hard and have a bit of skill to beat Svarog in Honkai: Star Rail, but the tips in this guide will assist you. Being one of the trickier bosses, Svarog needs some thinking to defeat. You’ll confront him before you can escape Belabog’s underground. Svarog is a tall robot that inflicts short bursts of damage. However, users can defeat him with the right selection of characters and a clever approach. Here’s how you can defeat Svarog in Honkai Star Rail and complete an achievement.

It’s essential to be aware of Svarog’s attacks before we move ahead with the plan. While the tall mech will attack you normally, he possesses three key moves.

  • Burning Beam: Svarog emits a laser beam from his palm, often dealing over 200 damage. He can use this attack right after attempting a normal strike.
  • Shrewd Bombing: The special attack launches a barrage of missiles. Although a single missile does less damage, multiple attacks add up and slowly erode your defenses.
  • Banishing Punch: This one’s a common attack that deals over 200 damage. Occasionally, it will come as a bonus with Burning Beam.

Svarog will also spawn an Auxiliary Robot Arm, which will temporarily capture one of your characters during the battle. There’s nothing you can do about it. Just try to stall and fight without that character. While these attacks look easy to tolerate, Svarog will persist long on the battlefield thanks to his huge health bar. As the fight continues, these attacks will add up and become a problem.

Characters and Strategy to Defeat Svarog

To have a chance at defeating Svarog, you must bring in a support character, such as Fu Xuan or Argenti. Fu Xuan is very beefy and can take the brunt of the fight. However, using a healer will enable you to stay alive during combat and fill those sad health bars.

Characters who have Wind, Lightning, and Fire elements will go well against Svarog. The rare five-star characters will do wonders against the boss. You can pick Blade, Acheron, Topaz, or others who have a preferable element. However, don’t fret about picking Dan Heng, Serval, Asta, and Hook if you don’t have the rarest bunch.

To defeat Svarog, use your attacks wisely. Don’t hesitate to use your ultimate ability to overpower the battle, but try to time it well. Make sure your support character is ready to face the big fight. When Svarog reaches 70% of his health, the fight will stop briefly for a cinematic scene. After the fight resumes, all your characters will have full health bars. We recommend going all out during the early phases of the fight.

That covers everything you need to know to defeat Svarog in Honkai Star Rail. Once you defeat him, you will complete the “Right-Hand Man’s Many Right-Handed Right Hands” achievement and earn 10 Stellar Jades.
