Sunshine Springs is about to welcome in some content for the new Saints Row DLC, The Heist and the Hazardous. The Saints are encountering new troubles and events to deal with and tend to as the lore expands. Instead of rival gangs to go up against, the Saints will be conducting business with an actor who has other plans for himself. Developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver have put together some footage that dives into the fresh gun-tootin’ gameplay within Santo Ileso. The DLC is available now to install, but let’s check out the trailer for Saints Row – The Heist and the Hazardous and what to expect.
We’re Not Friends, We’re the Saints Family – The Heist and the Hazardous DLC
We return to Santo Ileso with Saints Row – The Heist and the Hazardous DLC. The Saints have come into contact with actor Chris Hardy. An assassination plot is coming into play, with the Saints and Hardy collaborating. But as fate would have it, Chris betrays the Saints for his rise to higher stardom. Now with new issues to resolve, the Saints are taking hits back to Hardy; not in the form of killing, but rather with a heist.
From what we can grab from The Heist and the Hazardous Trailer, the Saints will be handling some new gear and enemies. In addition to Chris Hardy’s arc in the Saints Row DLC, players will get to test out new weapons and vehicles to add to Santo Ileso’s existing carnage. A Kaijuice Wingsuiting activity is being implemented as well, offering extra air time for the daredevils of the Saints. We’ve attached the footage above.
The featured song in the trailer is “Another Level” by Oh The Larceny from their Blood Is Rebel album.
To complement the footage, Volition has also released a set of patch notes. It contains new features and some improvements to optimize the Saints Row experience. Here’s the link for further information and screenshots for The Heist and the Hazardous.
Saints Row – The Heist and the Hazardous is available now to download. Be sure to check out the update notes for the DLC for the complete data to collect for your Saints mates.
