June’s issue of Shogakukan’s Monthlyย Coro Coroย Comicsย magazine published a 70-page full-color preview of a new Beyblade X manga series by the Promised Neverland writers. The manga will start its regular serialization in the magazine’s July issue. It will reportedly ship on June 15th. Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno are credited with the original work, with Posuka Demizu drawing the manga.
Takara Tomy announced theย Beyblade X manga project in March. Tomy described the project as the “4th generation” after its original 1999 version. Beybladeย Burst Queadstrike, the seventh and latest season of theย Beyblade Burstย anime series, premiered on Disney XD on April 3rd. It also premiered on Hulu on May 8th in the U.S.
The manga’s story centers on a young boy who has the goal of being a professional Beyblade player. He aims to get to Tower X, where all professional Beyblade players gather. The story will introduce new gears, abilities, and methods in playing Beyblade.

Hiro0 Morita launched theย Beybladeย Burstย manga in Monthly Coro Coro Comicsย in July 2015. The series concluded in December 2021, and the series spinoff manga by Seitaro Komatsu titled Beyblade Burst 3-Nen B- Gumi Bei Senseiย launched in Monthly CoroCoro Ichibanย magazine in April 2022. It also ended in December.
Kawamoto and Muno, along with publisherย TMS, are credited with the original work of the poker-themed animeย High Card, whichย premieredย on January 9. The anime will get aย second season. Demizu andย Kaiu Shiraiย launchedย The Promised Neverlandย inย Shueisha’sย Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in August 2016 andย endedย it in June 2020.ย Viz Mediaย publishes the manga digitally and in print in North America.ย MANGA Plus also published the manga digitally in English.
The first season of the manga’s anime adaptationย premieredย in January 2019.ย Aniplex of Americaย streamedย the anime onย Crunchyroll,ย Hulu,ย Funimation,ย andย HIDIVEย as it aired.ย Toonamiย beganย airingย the anime in April 2019. The anime’s second seasonย premieredย in January 2021.ย Funimationย streamed the anime as it aired, and alsoย streamedย an Englishย dub. A live-actionย filmย adaptation opened in December 2020.
