Deep Fireflies in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are more than a mesmerizing spectacle. Once you’ve acquired them, their magical potential extends beyond mere illumination. For example, you can upgrade your Miner Outfit.

To do so, you must locate a Great Fairy. There’s one near Woodland Stable. With a mere 20 rupees and your Deep Fireflies, she’ll upgrade your Miner Outfit from 3 to 5 resistance.

Another of the advantages of acquiring Deep Fireflies is their ability to create your elixirs. By blending Deep Fireflies with Monster Parts, you can craft a recipe that radiates with a glow. The melding of these two components results in the Deep Firefly infusing its unique essence into the final mixture: A Bright Elixir. The Deep Firefly bestows this brew with a remarkable Glow Effect. This luminous quality persists for a significant duration, allowing you to savor the radiance it brings while you traverse the depths. Remember, the more Fireflies you throw into the mix, the longer the elixir’s duration will be.
