Moblins can be found abundantly throughout the map. To locate them, watch for tall Skull caves that appear in the overworld. Alternatively, you may stumble upon Moblins near bonfires scattered along your path.

For those who wish to save time and directly engage in combat with Moblins to get their horns in Tears of the Kingdom, we provide a list of the five areas where these creatures can be found:

  • Forest of Time
  • Hyrule Field
  • East Hill
  • Depths of Central Hyrule
  • Mountains under Goron City

It is important to note that Moblins appear during every Blood Moon. Therefore, if you exhaust all available camps for farming, you will have to wait until the next occurrence of the moon.

If you have enough patience or it is your first encounter with a Moblin, continue reading for some valuable tips on dispatching them quickly and obtaining Moblin horns.

How to Defeat Moblins in TotK

Once you have defeated the Moblins, they will release their precious horns in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s a great idea to allow the Moblins to initiate the attack. Their strikes inflict significant damage, so ensure you counterattack when you are not vulnerable. To do this, check your inventory for explosives and use your bow to launch them or combine them with a weapon to stun these goblins. Seize this opportunity to deplete their health bar before they can strike again. If a Moblin employs a small Bokoblin to attack you, retaliate with the Recoverability.

How to use Moblin Horns in Tears of the Kingdom

Goblin horns are a great source of income. So we advise you to make good friends with the Stable Merchant.

Basic horns are worth 5 rupees each, while blue Moblin horns are worth 9. Imagine this income for each pair of horns.

In addition, Moblin horns in Tears of the Kingdom are great for fusing with weapons, shields, or arrows. For example, using a blue Moblin horn with a weapon adds 13 power points to your attack. This is enough to turn any sword in your inventory into a lethal weapon.

Remember that being a part of Monster. You can also combine them to create an elixir recipe whenever necessary.
