Season of the Deep is live in Destiny 2, and with it comes an abundance of changes, such as the ability to craft the Last Wish Raid weapons. Last Wish weapons have more or less fallen to the wayside over the years, and the worst of the bunch, the Apex Predator Rocket Launcher has had virtually no use since its release. However, with the ability to be crafted, enhanced perks, and new perks added to the weapon, this gun may very quickly rise in usage. With that said, it’s time to discuss how to get the Apex Predator Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2 and what the God Roll for it is.
How To Obtain The Apex Predator Rocket Launcher In Destiny 2
Like the other Last Wish Raid weapons, the Apex Predator in Destiny 2 can be obtained by completing any encounter in the Raid. Unlike other raids, there is no specific encounter from which the gun can be farmed, so players must simply go through full runs if they wish to obtain the gun by normal means.
However, as a new chance, Suraya Hawthorne now offers a new quest every week called “O Deepsight O Mine,” which grants Guardians a deepsight version of the Last Wish Raid weapon of their choice by completing every encounter in the Raid.
Collecting five deepsight copies of the Apex Predator will allow the player to craft the Legendary weapon like any other craftable gun at the Enclave. With the means of how to obtain the weapon, it’s time to discuss the new God Roll for it.
What Is The God Roll For The Apex Predator?
As mentioned before, the Apex Predator received a new slew of perks to be brought up to date in the current sandbox. In particular, it gained access to the all-powerful Reconstruction perk, which is a must-have for most heavy weapons. With that said, the God Roll players should be looking for is Reconstruction and Explosive Light.
Reconstruction will automatically reload and overflow the gun from reserves after a short period of time. In a Rocket Launcher’s case, this will increase the magazine size to two shots instead of one. On the other hand, Explosive Light grants a 25% buff to damage after picking up an Orb of Power, stacking up to six times. This combo of perks easily makes the weapon one of the best options to use in endgame content, such as Raids or Nightfalls. Nevertheless, whether or not it takes the throne as the best Legendary Rocket Launcher remains to be seen.
