To farm Mythril Ore through mining, you must have a Miner at level 31 or higher. The ore spawns in the southeast corner of Southern Thanalan at coordinates X:25.5; Y:40.7. Hab will guard this area for you, so you don’t have to worry about monsters.

Getting Island Mythril Ore Through Retainers

If you have a retainer that’s a miner, you can send them out on exploration ventures to farm Mythril Ore. The retainer needs to be at least level 34, and the ventures can last between 20 minutes and an hour, depending on your retainer’s level.

How to Use Island Mythril Ore

Once you have Mythril Ore, you can turn it into Mythril Ingots and Mythril Nuggets with the help of blacksmiths and goldsmiths. Here’s what you’ll need:

Mythril Ingots: 3x Mythril Ore, 4x Elemental Shards
Mythril Nuggets: 1x Mythril Ore, 5x Pinch of Mythrite Sand, 3x Elemental Shards

Mythril Ingots and Nuggets are used to make weapons and accessories, so make sure you have enough if you’re planning on crafting.
