Traversing the sandy hills of the Gerudo Desert in Tears of the Kingdom will force you to overcome quite a few things. First, you have to watch out for enemies like Moldugas, but keeping your temperature at a healthy level is vital not to lose hearts. Heat resistance is the way to do that during the day. For something like that, you need to find the Desert Voe Spaulder. Here is how to get the Desert Voe Spaulder in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Find the Desert Voe Spaulder in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To get the Desert Voe Spaulder in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to get to Gerudo Town. Voes are not allowed in normally, but Link is a special case. You need to find the Gerudo Secret Club. This illegal store in the city limits sells male clothes for Link. You will have to travel through the underground tunnels and find the right spot to use Ascend to get in.

After you have entered the Gerudo Secret Club, you can break the wooden crate blocking the front door. From now on, you can enter through that doorway.
To find the Desert Voe Spaulder, face the store worker behind the counter and look to the right. You can purchase the chest armor item for 1,300 Rupees.
You will have a level of heat resistance when wearing the Desert Voe Spaulder. To get around Gerudo Desert during the day without losing hearts, you will need either an additional armor piece giving heat resistance or eat a prepared meal that gives the effect.
Like other Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom armor sets, you can get a set bonus when you combine it with the Desert Voe Headband and Trousers. The Trousers are sitting next to the Spaulders at the Secret Club, but the Headband must be bought from the Kara Kara Bazaar. After upgrading all three pieces at a Great Fairy, you will get the Shock Damage Resist buff.
We definitely recommend the Desert Voe Spaulder and Headband for traveling through the Gerudo Desert. If you can combine them with the Sand Boots, we think you have the best set-up for exploring the area. You won’t have the shock resistance, but you won’t lose health from heat, and you’ll move around at a normal pace.
