The Pokemon Go Clay event is underway and starting this weekend, as well as the Single-Type Cup, which has also arrived in the game. This event is a bit more unique than others, giving many more requirements and setbacks for Trainers to learn. This event will allow the game to prevent certain Pokemon from being used in the battle. So, while a limited number of ones are available, which should you go with in Pokemon Go? Here is the single-type cup best team.

There are some rules for the Pokemon Go Single-Type Cup; there are only two rules that are pretty easy for most Trainers to follow. Here are the rules.
  • Only Pokemon with one type are eligible
  • Only Pokémon under 1,500 CP are eligible
Cresselia and Deoxys are two Pokemon disqualified from battling in this event. Be sure to follow the rules above, and players shouldn’t have any problems in the future with the event. Now, let’s get into the best Single-Type Cup Pokemon for Pokemon Go. Players can only bring single-type Pokemon below 1,500 CP to the battle, so Trainers’ options will be heavily limited.
Below is a list of some of the Pokemon recommended to use during the event and their movesets. Here is the single-type cup best team.
  • Vigoroth, which has the moveset of Scratch Fast Attack, Body Slam Charged Attack
  • Machamp, which has the moveset of Counter Fast Attack, Rock Slide Charged Attack
  • Wobbuffet, which has the moveset of Counter Fast Attack, Mirror Coat Charged Attack
  • Meganium, which has the moveset of Vine Whip Fast Attack, Frenzy Plant Charged Attack
  • Grimer, which has the moveset of Poison Jab Fast Attack, Sludge Bomb Charged Attack
Using any Pokemon above will be the best bet while participating in the Pokemon Go Single-Type Cup. Players will want to be sure to follow the rules which are also listed above. Although this event is a little different than other ones Pokemon Go usually offers, it is still a fun event that Trainers can benefit from.
Pokemon Go is available on iOS and Android.
