Dave The Diver players might be wondering how the Auto Supply feature works. Bancho, the sushi chef, only tells you that turning the feature on should make things more convenient. But the game does not clearly explain what that is supposed to mean. Does it make supplying Staff faster? Or does it make buying and selling items easier somehow? If you have questions about the feature, this Dave The Diver guide will explain how Auto Supply works.

What Auto Supply Is and How It Works in Dave The Diver

Simply put, the Auto Supply feature in Dave The Diver allows the game to automatically prep sushi when it is sold out on the menu. Prepping the menu for The Sushi Bar in the game works somewhat similarly to a real restaurant. You have to choose which kind and how many Fish you want to put on the menu. Then Bancho will prep them as sushi for sale in the bar. If prepped sushi was not ordered by your customers, then the remaining dish will be discarded.

But if you use the Auto Supply, then you just have to add one single Fish to the menu. As long as you still have the Fish and Ingredients in the inventory, Bancho will automatically prep them when they are sold out. Here’s exactly how the Auto Supply system works in Dave The Diver:

  1. First, you have to set up Bancho’s Sushi menu before you can open the Sushi Bar.
  2. The menu depends on what kind of Fish and how many you have caught during the day.
  3. Bancho will then prep the sushi to be sold to customers.
    • As an example, let’s say you caught a bunch of Moray Eels and want to sell them.
    • You put 7 Moray Eels on the menu, and Bancho will prep all of them into meals.
    • If only 5 of the Eels were sold, then the remaining 2 will have to be discarded.
  4. But, if you use the Auto Supply, you only need to put 1 Moray Eel on the menu.
  5. When the item on the menu runs out, Bancho will automatically prep another fish to fill the menu.
  6. However, this only works if you still have the Fish and Ingredients for the dish left in the inventory.

If you want to turn on Auto Supply in Dave the Diver, you can do so in the Menu. Just pick one of each Fish from your inventory that you want to add to the menu. Go back to the Sushi Bar menu and open each dish you’ve set up. Pick and hold the Auto Supply button to confirm.

Dave the Diver is available for Microsoft Windows via Steam.
