If you want to make less effort to produce and store more items, learn how to upgrade every tool and bag in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Very few activities in this game that don’t require tools and storing items in your bag. We can only think of talking and running around looking for NPCs. That means you’ll want to get bag and tool upgrades quite often. A gold fishing rod will get you more catches, and a big bag will let you stash multiple items in your inventory without needing extra storage. In this guide, we’ll go over every upgrade and how to get it.

Tool Upgrade Guide for Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

Before trying to upgrade any tool, ensure you have a healthy stash of gold. Every upgrade comes with a golden price tag, so you’ll want to be financially prepared. But it’s not just about the shiny coins. Each upgrade requires a material. Specifically, you’ll need one piece of ore for each.

Follow these steps to upgrade your tools in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

  1. Head to the Forge, found in the northeast corner of Mineral Town.
  2. Once there, speak with Saibara, the blacksmith, and choose the “Upgrade Tools” option.
  3. Visit the Tool Shop and speak with Saibara. It’s important to note that the Tool Shop is closed on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly.
