We wouldn’t blame you for wanting to unlock the Ripper Roo in Crash Team Rumble. The character’s various abilities are super strong. However, there’s a bit of work to do before you can choose him, as is the case with other characters in Team Rumble. You can access Ripper Roo’s challenge from July 6-10, and the full release for the character is on the 20th of July. So, without further ado, here’s how you can unlock this blue kangaroo.

How to Unlock Ripper Roo for Free

  • Collect four marbles during your matches to unlock Ripper Roo.

From July 6, some marbles will spawn in the arenas of Crash Team Rumble. These blue orbs will spawn in random locations, and you may see them while gathering Wumpa fruits for the win. Now if you look at the challenges above, you’ll see the rewards for gathering marbles. Find enough of them, and Ripper Roo will arrive on your list.

It’s not clear if you can find all of these marbles in one map only or if you need to play other arenas to gather more. However, the number of these marbles is limited in each match, granting few players to find these blue orbs. But remember that for early unlocking of Ripper Roo in Crash Team Rumble, you only have the 6th to 10th of July.

If you miss the four days window for unlocking the Ripper Roo early, you need to wait until the 20th of July. The unlocking method will be different in the full release, but you’ll lose ten days to other players who have the new character. Ripper Roo will probably change the game’s balance to become the new meta. And if you miss your chance on early unlock, you’ll also miss the advantage. However, getting this new character on early access and a full release period is completely free. You can also unlock many cosmetic rewards by gathering more of the lost marbles by Ripper Roo during the four days window of July 6-10.
