CD Projekt Red is one of the studios that changed the gaming world. In fact, it started with a small budget and risky investments. But the studio gained popularity with The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 and keeps growing. Even though CD Projekt Red made a terrible launch with Cyberpunk 2077, the team focused on the problems and made the game enjoyable today. The expansions and new generation patches also helped the studio regain its reputation. A new graphic claims that the studio is being rewarded for its achievements. CD Projekt Red is now bigger than Ubisoft.

CD Projekt Red Is Now a More Successful Studio Than Ubisoft

Even if you’re not an investor, it could be fun to know the market caps of the game studios that produce the titles you enjoy. As reported by Forbes, CDPR officially hits $3.5 billion of market cap, surpassing Ubisoft’s $3 billion. As some of you may have already guessed, Take-Two is the leader with $25 billion, and Capcom and Square Enix are following them with $8 billion and $5.5 billion, respectively. It’s weird to know that CDPR is bigger than Ubisoft because the studio only has a few titles we know. The probable reason is that CDPR only focuses on big IPs.

Another contributing fact is that CDPR is the biggest game studio in the European Union countries. That’s another achievement, and their competitors are mostly Japanese and American studios. This origin isn’t a problem anymore because the studio is localizing the games very well. Square Enix and Capcom are selling millions of copies of games, even though they’re originally Japanese titles. CDPR is also based in Poland, but their main focus is releasing games in English and adding voicing and subtitle support as they can.
