The Labs Investigation mission is the quest from tier 4 of the Black Mous faction. There are two parts to the entire quest, with the first being to infiltrate Building 21. Once you have done that, you need to investigate the Building 21 generator room on F1. The mission is simple and we will help you understand and complete it in the game. So without further ado, let’s see how you can complete the Labs Investigation DMZ mission.
Infiltrate Building 21 in Labs Investigation DMZ Mission
To successfully infiltrate Building 21 in the Labs Investigation DMZ mission, you need a DRC Building Access Key Card. Play Ashika Island, or any other map of your choice, and focus on looting supply drops, as they often contain access cards for Building 21. Once you get the key card, you can infiltrate the building and complete the first part of the mission.

Investigate Building 21 Generator Room in Labs Investigation DMZ Mission
The path you take to reach the Generator Room on F1 depends on your initial spawn location. If you’re fortunate, you might spawn on the ground floor or the first floor, which is where the parking garage is located. There are multiple spawn locations in this area, increasing your chances of getting one nearby. However, if you spawn on a different floor, you’ll have to descend a flight of stairs to reach the parking garage area.
It’s crucial to note that the parking garage is a busy area and you can encounter a lot of players here, so stay on your toes and be aware of them. To complete the second part of the mission, you need to be the first to reach the location and open the door. If you can’t open the door, clearing the area or returning multiple times won’t progress the mission. If you fail, you’ll have to exfil and reattempt the mission.
To reach the generator room from the parking garage, look for the A and B section of the garage. There are two sides: A and B, or C and D, depending on your spawn. Head towards the A1 side, as it provides the easiest access to your destination. Upon entering through that doorway, proceed towards the back hallway leading to the data center. Take the first door to your right, which leads to a hallway. Follow it to the left, and on the right, you’ll find an open room. In that room, there is a blue door. Ignore it and continue following the hallway to the right. Eventually, you’ll come across a locked door in the mission.
Wait for the designated time for the locks to unlock. Once the time elapses, you can open the door to enter the generator room. This is the final destination for part 2 of the Labs Investigation DMZ mission.
