In Halls of Torment, you have to fight off hordes of various monsters to survive. The more you kill, the more you can gain experience and unlock new abilities or items. However, each character has unique gameplay, which means that you will need to create certain builds for your character to shine. For example, the Archer should not let enemies get too close. Archer is one of the characters available at the beginning of Halls of Torment. We think that this class is one of the best classes, as it’s fun to play. The Archer doesn’t have much health, but it doesn’t need it. Instead of soaking up damage, you can just avoid all of your enemies. If someone gets too close, they can take massive critical damage.

Since Archer has a large range, you don’t have to worry about defense or health as much in Halls of Torment. It’s better increase stats like Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage, Movement Speed, and Damage. However, with each new level, you need to choose one Trait from the random ones offered. We recommend that you focus on these Traits:

Strength – Increases Damage by 10%
Quick Hands – Increases Attack Speed by 8%
Piercing Wind – Increases Piercing by 1
Ruthlessness – Increases Critical Damage Bonus by 20%
Multihit – Increases Additional Attacks by 10%

Lightning Strike – Strikes random enemies with lightning, and stuns surrounding enemies. Hit enemies get electrified.
Phantom Needles Fire needles at random nearby enemies in quick succession. Multihit increases the attack speed.
Astronomer’s Orbs – Summons metal orbs that circle around you and damage enemies. Orb’s Speed increases with movement speed.
Transfixion – Fire projectiles in the direction you are facing. Damage is reduced for every enemy hit. Chance to apply Fragile effect.

The combination of these abilities will allow you to walk around the playing field and kill everything around you. However, you still need to be careful and avoid large groups of enemies and bosses, as Archer’s health is quite low in Halls of Torment. (You can take some Traits to restore health in case you get hit by one of the enemies)

Finally, items can greatly increase your chances of survival. You should use items that increase your Attack Speed (Wind Crown) and Damage (Collar of Confidence). You can also take something for the Pick-Up Range (Longfinger Gloves) to level up faster.
