Want to know how to use the Dramaturgy & Plot Twist perks in Dead by Daylight? Ever since Nicolas Cage was introduced in DbD, nothing has been the same, and everything is on fire now. Nicolas Cage comes with three exclusive perks, two of which are never-seen-before buffs in DbD. Understanding Nicolas Cage’s Dramaturgy and Plot Twist perks can be tricky because they’re a bit complicated. So, let’s show you how Dramaturgy and Plot Twist work in Dead by Daylight in no time.
How Does Nicolas Cage’s Kit Work?
Nicolas Cage will be in the game soon with unique and exciting perks not seen in Dead by Daylight‘s Fog before. Dramaturgy is a kind of gambling perk, and Plot Twist allows you to fool the Killer by playing dead in DbD. We will only cover these two because Screen Partner is simpler and more understandable than others. So let’s see how these perks work!
Dramaturgy
Dramaturgy only activates whenever you are Healthy. While running, press the Active Ability button to run with knees high for 0.5 seconds to gain a +25 % Haste for 2 seconds. After the haste effect ends, another random effect comes into play. While this effect can be something that can come in handy, it can also be a debuff:
- Get 25% Haste for 2 seconds, one more time.
- Get Exposed for 12 seconds.
- Scream, but nothing will happen.
- Get a random Rare or higher rarity item in hand with random add-ons. That will make the held item drop.
Last but not least, Dramaturgy causes the Exhausted effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
Dramaturgy is like entering a tunnel where you don’t know where it will end. You can double your Haste or fall into the clutches of Killer. Dramaturgy is a risky but fun Dead by Daylight perk since you don’t know what will happen.
Plot Twist
Plot Twist activates whenever you are Injured. While crouched and motionless, press the Active Ability Button 2 to enter the dying state. Once you enter the dying state, you:
- Suppress Grunts of Pain and make no noise
- Suppress Pools of Blood and leave no blood pools
- Can fully recover from the dying state.
If you fully recover from the dying state using the Plot Twist perk, you will be wholly healed instantly and gain a +50% Haste for 2/3/4 seconds. You can use this perk two times in the game. The second time is when the Exit Gates become powered.
Plot Twist seems to be one of the most interesting perks in the game. It sounds like a great option to fool the Killer or hide from them, but once they notice you, you’re done. You can also use Plot Twist to save your teammates by keeping the Killer’s focus on yourself in DbD. This is one of the best Haste perks in the game right now.
