Palia: Every Feature Shown in the Gameplay Showcase
Palia’s gameplay showcase gave us many details regarding some of the things coming with the game. Some of them are still in the works, but by looking at the Alpha build, the developers seem to be working hard and getting things done. Here are some of the most relevant features we saw during the live stream:
- Housing:
- Players can add new sections to their homes as they see fit. Building a new section will take real-time hours.
- Players can permit other users to build/move things inside their homes.
- Romance:
- Players can woo several characters but only truly romance one. Gifts reset after a real-world day.
- Skills:
- Every skill has levels, and leveling up will unlock several new things.
- Farming:
- There are different farming plots of different sizes depending on the crop.
- There is an underground market with “magical” objects.
- Fishing will feature a minigame with a certain difficulty.
- The game will monetize through cosmetic items.
