How to Get Bat Form Ability in V Rising
Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer 79 is a Level V Blood Carrier. This vampire from the Age of Dracula is extremely powerful. If you can find and kill this boss, you will receive the Onyx Tear recipe, Soulburn ability, and Bat Form power.
Bat Form power allows you to fly and travel over rough terrain. This way, you don’t have to waste time traveling around big mountains. However, there are a few things you should know about the Bat Form. When you transform into Bat Form, you can’t carry any materials, you can’t land on mountains, and most importantly, you can’t see enemies below as you fly.
This is because the game has an isometric camera, so the player below cannot see above. Otherwise, the Bat Form would be too strong, and players on the ground would be constantly ganked.
Where to Find Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer in V Rising
Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer is located in the Cursed Forest, just above Dunley Farmlands. You can encounter this boss almost anywhere in the Cursed Forest. There is no exact location, so you have to find it by walking around a bit in this location. After defeating this boss, you will get Soulburn ability, Onyx Tear recipe, and V Rising Bat Form power.
How to Kill Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer
- You must kill all the other creeps near the boss before you attack.
- This boss doesn’t regenerate health right away, so kiting is your best friend in this fight.
- Using Counter Spell is not very useful on Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer.
- You can prefer spells like Volatile Archnid, Chaos Volley, and Sanguine Coil. The best spell choice will be the ranged self-heal spells like Sanguine Coil.
- Always keep your distance, and only use ranged attacks.
- Use your Dash Skill when the boss charges at you or teleports.
